- The Fam
Rest in peace Where’s Walrus. Lime was forced to return her cherished picture book, that has been her bed companion for weeks, to the library today. I thought I would give it proper farewell.
A true picture book with no text, this book is brilliant because somehow it is funny and intelligible to a two year old. Lime would flip through the pages on her own and laugh as she pointed out it’s silly scenes.
This happens to be the very book I spotted Lime reading while she sat up in bed one night using light that leaked down from the top bunk. At that, it instantly became one of my favorites.
I hope that Stephen Savage ventures to produce more picture books on his own. This was fun.
Now I need more picture book suggestions for a two-year-old, anyone?
