I’ve made a few different versions of these booties. The original idea came from Dorothy and her baby Bootie Tutorial at Come What May and Love It. Please take a look at her instructions and pattern. The three I include here are for a small (1YR+), Medium (3YR), and Large (5YR) version. I will add pictures and tutorials for other versions I have made when I get a chance. Enjoy!

I made the slippers last night. I turned the seam in on the bottom but will try it like your picture next time. I really enjoyed sewing them and didn’t need to follow directions as the pattern is very strait forward. Thank you.

I am going to make more today for my 4y/o niece who stays with me during the day. Thanks again!
Thanks for the pattern. I made it last night except I turned the sole seam in. I am going to make another pair today for my 4 y/o niece that stays with me during the day. Thanks for the strait forward pattern; I didn’t need directions to follow it and they would be easy to modify with decorations (like a cowboy star).
I linked my post on pinterest about in the website spot as I didn’t know what else to put there.
Thanks again.
I’m so glad they worked out! I think there is so much you could do with the pattern. Thanks for linking back :)
Thank you so much for this I’ve been making them for all my friends! They’re so great and they stay on! I’ve used the ‘Dorothy was here’ tutorial too. I hope you can help with this, as I’m new to sewing I’m having trouble making them for around 18mo size how can I adjust this pattern for an 18 mo old? The 12mo turns out too small. Are you able to include some pattern lines for 18 months? Thank you.
Sophie
In all honesty, it’s been a year since I made a set! But I am certainly willing to try. The only problem is that I don’t have a 18 month old to size them for. Would you be willing to take the pattern for a test drive? Let me know!
Definitely! Thanks!
Okay, I FINALLY uploaded the new patterns for everyone to try. Hope you enjoy and tell me how it goes :)
I copied your patterns and they a too large for an infant. Has anyone blogged you for smaller sizes? I guess I’ll just have to cut it down from the small size pattern.
Susan, I’m not sure if you are using the small size (1 YR) or the newborn pattern? Here is the link to the newborn pattern

I have been told that it does fit for an infant. Let me know if that works!
Thank you for finally making a pattern for newborn. Now looking for patterns for 6mos. 9mos and 1 year old. Anyone help?
Thank you for taking the time to size this great pattern and for sharing. I love these booties and I can keep making them for my daughter as she grows
Your very welcome!! Glad you can enjoy them for a while :)
I love making these! I am about to make some more, and wondering how you did your ruffle. I’d like to try that. Thanks!
Really simple Elisa, just cut a couple strips of fleece, bunched each down vertically with my fingers and gave it a couple stitches with the sewing machine to keep it in place. I tacked the ruffle on by hand after the bootie was made. Hope that makes sense!
Yes, thank you! :)
